Unearned Income from Property IS Theft

The UK government is relaxing regulations to enable builders to develop brown land sites.  The rationale for this is that the country is desperately short of housing stock and that at the same time vast tracts of urban land lies in waste.  To marry the two makes simple sense as it seems to solve the problems of urban decay and housing shortages in one leap, whilst simultaneously boosting the economy and creating work.  The solution is not only simple, it is fraudulent.

There is no shortage of housing in the UK.  What there is, is a dearth of available housing.  There are a vast number of empty properties which have been allowed to fall into disrepair.  There are also a number of second properties used as holiday homes.

The phenomenon of Holiday Homes is so extreme in parts of the UK that there are many areas where local people cannot get accommodation in spite of vast amounts of housing stock laying idle for most of the year.  A case in point in the seaside town of Abermaw which has a permanent population of less than 3,000 people, rising to over 120,000 when the tourists swarm across the border from England in summertime.  English parasites are making the lives of ordinary people in neighbouring Cymru a misery.  Homelessness goes hand-in-hand with empty housing.  The Capitalist system is directly responsible for the greed and selfishness of second home owners impacting upon the quality of life of those who cannot secure even a first home.

Holiday homes are not the sole problem.  Buy to Let mortgages allow people with no conscience to get hold of property, rent it out at a rate which far exceeds the money they expend in mortgage repayments, and make an obscene profit while keeping tenants in a position of insecurity, being able to evict their occupants with very little notice.  Buy to Let pushes rents up, creating poverty traps.  The Tenants effectively buy the property for their Landlords.  The Tenants work to earn money which then goes on to enrich others who do nothing to earn that money.  This is simple Theft.

Earning by the labour of others is immoral and unacceptable.  Landlordism is a form of exploitation which causes misery of many types: the abuse of people by extorting money to line the pockets of bankers and the unscrupulous bourgeois parasites; denying security of accommodation by treating housing as a business rather than a right; mental and physical ill-health resulting from the stress of being at the mercy of landords; rape of the land by forcing the building of new housing to make up for that which is withheld for profit and tourism; the inhumanity of homelessness; forcing people into inadequate housing due to pricing decent housing beyond the reach of the Working Class.

SWPE would solve the housing crisis by socialising all property and reallocating it to the people in equal measure, with everyone given enough space to live in comfort, to have space to be self sufficient in basic food requirements and to have the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their own labour in workshops attached to every home, for personal use or for trading with others with no exploitation of anyone, as equals.

The owners of Second Homes, the owners of Royal Palaces, the bourgeois filth who have become rich by exploiting the ordinary people, the vile usurious Buy to Let criminals who use the sweat of other people to build their rachman-like property empires - all these will be held accountable for their theft of the wealth of the people.  Everyone else will rejoice in the liberation from poverty, housing insecurity and bedsit prison.  Redistribution of Property is the key to lasting freedom.  Prohibition of landlordism with the anti-human use of property as an economic commodity, is the only way to prevent the re-emergence of the Capitalist disease.

Happy Ireland Day - not saint Patrick's - and not just to our Irish Comrades!

Today is the day which christians refers to as 'saint' Patrick's Day.  SWPE is not a christian organisation, so we will not refer to the National Day of Ireland by such an offensive term.  We have good Comrades of Irish stock and we join with them in recognising today as Ireland Day, a day to celebrate Irishness and to remember all the disgusting and barbaric atrocities committed against the Irish People by financial and religious imperialists.

The so-called 'saint' who people refer to when they call today "'saint Patrick's Day", was a symbolic figure representing the invasion of Ireland by followers of the Semitic Cult of Christianity.  Patrick is known for throwing the Snakes out of Ireland.  The Snake (like the Dragon) is a sacred representation of the defenders of the Celtic People, the Druids.  Patrick was just one of many members of the tyrannical depotism of christianity, so his name is of little significance, and it is questionable if he (like the figure his religion is named after) even existed at all.

There were never any physical snakes in Ireland, so the so-called saint could not have cast them out.  The Druids wore serpent tattoos and it was these people who fought to keep the hate-filled genocidal lunacy of christianity away from our people.  Just as the newest branch of the Semitic faith, mohammedanism, spread through murder, rape and economic butchery, so did the christian version.

The arrival of christianity as a major force in Europe, was the reason for the Dark Ages, for the loss of culture, freedom, native Socialism and all that was wholesome.  The assault on the Feminine, the imposition of a Ruling Class with the power to murder free thinkers, the arrival of proto-Capitalism, all these came with the brutal take-over of the savage alien creed of christianity.  The 'Snakes' cast out by 'saint' Patrick, were the heroic protectors of the People, murdered by the newcomers for refusing to accept a 'religion' based on obedience to the Ruling Class.

The Ruling Class handbook, known as the bible, tells people that the god of the christians will deal with people who are unjust, so the sheep don't need to attempt to defend themselves, and rather than act in Revolution to overthrow the parasites, they must grovel, obey whatever laws are imposed on them and subject themselves to slavery.  Swivel-eyed christians believe that their god will save them and that it isn't a bad thing to be oppressed, it's a really good thing!  Have a look at this piece of drivel, from Romans 13:

13 All of you must obey those who rule over you. There are no authorities except the ones God has chosen. Those who now rule have been chosen by God. So whoever opposes the authorities opposes leaders whom God has appointed. Those who do that will be judged. If you do what is right, you won’t need to be afraid of your rulers. But watch out if you do what is wrong! You don’t want to be afraid of those in authority, do you? Then do what is right, and you will be praised. The one in authority serves God for your good. But if you do wrong, watch out! Rulers don’t carry a sword for no reason at all. They serve God. And God is carrying out his anger through them. The ruler punishes anyone who does wrong. You must obey the authorities. Then you will not be punished. You must also obey them because you know it is right.
That’s also why you pay taxes. The authorities serve God. Ruling takes up all their time. Give to everyone what you owe them. Do you owe taxes? Then pay them. Do you owe anything else to the government? Then pay it. Do you owe respect? Then give it. Do you owe honor? Then show it.

Wow!  The Ruling Class destroyed Free Europe and turned our people into Slaves by writing a book in which the fictional main character, known as jesus, tells everyone that we must obey our oppressors, subject ourselves to financial and physical servitude, know our place, be good chattel, all because in the end, the great christian god will give us rewards in some mythical afterlife when he condemns all but 144,000 people to eternal pain in a special place called Hell, where Revolutionaries, Radicals, Women, anti-Capitalists, anti-Globalists, anyone who doesn't enthusiastically  support the Ruling Class and all who don't swallow the drivel of the three headed Semitic faith must go.  So-called 'saint' Pat is celebrated for bringing Ireland under the yoke of oppression.

The Triskelion was dishonored by Patrick who subverted its meaning and brought into being the Shamrock analogy with its Semitic focus.   Nothing of the Patrick story is worthy of celebration.  The entire christian story is one of lies, theft, murder, despotism and imposition of alien rule and an economic Ruling Class kept in place by scare-mongering clergy and a violent governing/legal system. That is why SWPE say Happy Ireland Day, and not paddy day.

The Central Place of the Market in a Socialist Society

The 'free market' in a world dominated by capitalism is a nightmare for the people.  It is the Market which is free, not the people.  The people serve the market, they are slaves to it.

A Socialist Society frees the people from the ravages of international finance and commerce.  The first step towards achieving a Socialist society is to withdraw from the Stock Market, denying any speculative interests access to the country, and forbidding all members of the nation from engaging in the same in other countries.  In an ideal world, the entire Global Stock Market system would cease to exist, but as realists we have to accept that it is beyond our power to control Global affairs, and also to attempt to do so would enmesh us in the exact Globalism we are trying to free our people from.

The myth created by capitalists is that there is no room for trading in a Socialist country.  This is a lie.  Under Socialism, the people are freed from wage slavery and are given the opportunity to trade with one another as individuals, as artisans and as producers of goods which are sold to the advantage of all.  The real market (the local farmers' market, the flea market, the traditional everyday market of the town square) flourishes under Socialism.  Socialism prevents people exploiting one another.  The confusion begins with a failure to understand that Socialism and Communism are not the same.

Under Socialism, the people are free from the forces of exploitation.  Having a guaranteed home, of a size which allows for life to be enjoyed, contrasts greatly with the horrific system of capitalism in which the threat (or reality) of homelessness blights the lives of millions in this country alone.  Precious time is wasted in jobs which are hated, to pay for a basic house or flat, which can be taken away if the job which brings so much misery and social conflict, comes to an end.  Of course, in a Socialist Society, people will be expected to contribute for the benefit of the whole.  But work will be tailored to the needs of the people, and with the localisation of the economy, the end of commuting and reduced working hours will allow for greater quality of life both inside and outside the workplace.

So where does the market come into this?  A free people, unburdened by the need to work themselves to death to keep a squalid roof over their heads, is a happier people.  A happier people - especially a people with space at home for productive workshops and land for basic farming - is a people who have the freedom, opportunity, and elevated attitude of mind, suited to the production of works of art, of self-produced goods, of food stuffs and many more things besides.  The market, or more appropriately, the Market Place, becomes a place for people to meet and to exchange the products of their own individual labour.  Working for oneself as a means for exploring one's artistic and creative abilities, with no element of exploitation at any level, brings benefits to the people as a whole, encouraging organic culture and uniting the people at the local level by allowing the exchange of goods produced by self-respecting honest toil.

By keeping the Market Place local, the interaction of the people can be an aid to social cohesion.  The futility of competition, with all the inherent dangers of sliding into the pursuit of profit for the sake of it, can be held in abeyance by keeping the emphasis on local produce for local trade.  Markets must be entirely voluntary, subject to no charges such as rent for space, with an expected development being specialisation and barter, rather than production of shoddy goods for sale at prices which do not reflect the time and effort of the individual producer.  The Market Place must be a free space for the enjoyment of all, not a place for financial gain, not a place of work, but of joy and pride in one's accomplishments and the accomplishments of one's friends and neighbours.  In the case of predatory capitalist exploitative tendencies arising, it is the responsibility of the State to put a stop to them.

The Market Place forms apart of the natural order, against the globalist materialist system of sterile uniformity and profit-seeking as a means of control or of survival.  A restoration of the organic cooperative market is a factor in the abolition of the un-natural, anti-human malaise which we find ourselves fighting against.

"That which is now to be expropriated is no longer the labourer working for himself, but the capitalist exploiting many labourers. This expropriation is accomplished by the action of the immanent laws of capitalistic production itself, by the centralisation of capital. One capitalist always kills many. Hand in hand with this centralisation, or this expropriation of many capitalists by few, develop, on an ever-extending scale, the cooperative form of the labour process, the conscious technical application of science, the methodical cultivation of the soil, the transformation of the instruments of labour into instruments of labour only usable in common, the economising of all means of production by their use as means of production of combined, socialised labour, the entanglement of all peoples in the net of the world market, and with this, the international character of the capitalistic regime."
